Born in Moncton New Brunswick, Andrew Rice joined the AWOC team in May of 2009 as a Student-At-Law. He arrived in Sherwood Park after taking time following his graduation from the University of Windsor’s law program in 2007 to work in the Northwest Territories doing business planning and office management. Proud of his mixed Native Canadian and Celtic heritage, Andrew has had the opportunity to enjoy much that the country has to offer by living on the West, East, and Northern coasts.

Mr. Rice’s work experience to date has been characterized by his involvement in the economic development and health services of northern communities to which he has applied his unique social awareness and understanding. A volunteer veteran of legal aid and the co-founder of a minor basketball association, Andrew enjoys staying active in the community and is passionate about giving back wherever possible. Andrew has brought his positive attitude and dedicated work ethic home to Alberta and is making a positive contribution here at Ahlstrom Wright Oliver & Cooper LLP.
