Chris Younker joined AWOC in June 2011 after receiving his LLB from the University of Alberta. While in law school Chris volunteered with Student Legal Services and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association. Prior to going to law school Chris obtained a B.A. in History from Simon Fraser University then spent a year living and working in Japan.
