David Phillips joined the firm in 2008 as a Student-at-Law after receiving his LLB
from the University of Manitoba. He also holds a BA with distinction
in psychology.
While completing this undergraduate degree, David undertook a two term practicum at
various social agencies within Edmonton. While in law school,
David was involved with Legal Aid and represented clients before the
court regarding criminal matters.
David also
enjoyed mooting and was selected as a Solomon Greenberg
Moot Court finalist and was invited to compete in National
Mooting
Competitions.
Born in
Edmonton and growing up in Strathcona County, Dave enjoys the various
festivals Edmonton and area have to offer. One of which includes the Fringe Theatre
Festival, during which he has appeared in the occasional show.
