Donna
Oliver attended the University of Brandon in Manitoba graduating with
an Education Diploma and Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973. She was
called
to the Alberta Bar in 1981, and both the Northwest Territories Bar and the Nunavut Bar in 2009.
From 1981 until 1995, Ms.
Oliver
practiced general law with an emphasis on family litigation.
Donna now
handles personal injury, serious medical malpractice, dependant adult
cases and some general litigation. She has been successful in
resolving cases on behalf of clients with settlements in excess of 1
million dollars. She and AWOC associates often act for
surviving
family members of aircraft accidents and major personal injury cases
north and south of the 60th parallel. Donna is a
Sessional
Lecturer in Advocacy at the University of Alberta's Faculty of Law.
