Keith Macey received his law degree from the University of Alberta in 2005
and after articling with AWOC, was admitted to the Law Society of
Alberta in 2006. He has assisted the lawyers at AWOC in a
variety
of cases and has gained experience in the diversity of the legal
matters handled by the law firm. Currently Keith's practice is focused
on civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on personal injury and
debt collection matters. Keith's involvement in
administrative
law has led him to travel to
Yellowknife, NWT, Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan, and Iqaluit, Nunavut to facilitate his client's claims.

Active in the community, Keith served as a volunteer on the Long Term
Care Unit at Calgary's Foothills Hospital from 1997 to 1998, was a
member and volunteer event organizer of the Calgary Tennis Club from
1998 to 1999, a member of the Canadian Bar Aassociation's' Junior Lawyer's section in
2005-2006, a member of the CBA's Health Law section in 2006-2007, and
is currently a member of the CBA's Employment Law and Civil Litigation
sections. Keith has recently joined the Alberta Civil Trial
Lawyers Association, and has recently become a volunteer Board Member for the County Clothesline Foundation.
