One of the
founding partners of AWOC, Lee Ahlstrom, Q.C., obtained his B.ED. and
an LLB from the University of Alberta. A former military officer,
private pilot and businessman himself, Lee has over 30 years experience
in Boards and Agencies law and complex business matters, including
mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. Lee
became a member of the Alberta Bar in 1974, a member of the NWT Bar in 2001, and a member of the Nunavut Bar in 2009.
He also retains membership in the Edmonton Bar and the Canadian Bar. Lee was appointed Queen's Council in 1990. Lee has always been an active member of the community. He
received the Canadian Forces Decoration, and in 2002, was appointed
Knight in the Order of St. John of Jerusalem.
