Robert Kasting joined AWOC after serving as counsel with Walbridge & Associates for 11 years until that firm dissolved in 2006. A member of the Law Society of British Columbia since July 1978, the Law Society of Nunavut since 1999, and member of the NWT bar since 1987, Mr. Kasting is the former director of legal services for the GNWT. While in that position he acted as Coroner's Counsel focusing his practice on Northern board and administrative work, and complex litigation. Mr. Kasting, who holds an Olympic Bronze medal in swimming, is based in British Columbia but operates from AWOC's office in Yellowknife during NWT related matters.
